A team of 4 members from the Center of Water Informatics and Technology (WIT) visited the University of Agriculture, Peshawar, where they presented their water monitoring device in front of faculty members, PhD students and lab staff. This unique device is capable of floating in stationary and flowing water while accurately monitoring important water quality parameters such as pH, dissolved oxygen, electric conductivity, oxidation reduction potential and turbidity. With a long-lasting battery life, this device can send data remotely, making it ideal for monitoring water channels for longer durations. The team provided training to the staff and successfully demonstrated it in a nearby flowing tributary of River Kabul, after which the device was handed over to the respective department.
