The Office of Research (OR) is actively pursuing its mandate to promote research culture at LUMS and is acting as a bridge between LUMS faculty and funding agencies. The office is responsible for each and every research that LUMS is a part of, wherever sponsored funding is concerned. OR works diligently to make sure that all the funding opportunities are identified and availed by faculty members and researchers. Operations at OR run smoothly due to well-established and well-defined mechanisms under four broad classifications:
- Preparation/Identification
- Application Review/Pre-Award Management
- Post-Award Management
- Close-out/Commercialization
This classification further includes various processes through which the basic objective of OR is fulfilled.
