LUMS is continuously striving to build a nourishing environment for research and build a culture that encourages faculty as well as students to indulge in ground-breaking research in their fields. The Summer Research Programme (SRP) thus seeks to promote research activities during the summer months. The purpose of SRP is to encourage high school and undergraduate students to engage in research activities under the supervision of LUMS faculty and other mentors. It provides them with an excellent opportunity to witness scientific research taking place at LUMS—including theoretical research, field and lab projects, data design, collection, and analysis. The duration of the SRP ScR is 8 to 10 weeks or 6 months if the students use the funding for their project funding.
