This project aimed to develop a system that exploits machine vision algorithms to capture/identify the spots from video stream of the web running at high rates in real time. To ensure the simplicity in design, commercial of the shelf components was used. In addition, to address computational overhead state-of-the-art machine vision algorithm were employed. The developed system is robust enough to capture the spots at speeds up to 200 meters per minute.
